Deleting your account and downloading your data
2 min read · Updated October 15, 2026
Download your data
- Account › Privacy and data › Download your data.
- Tap Request export. You can request one export every 24 hours.
- We'll email you when the archive is ready (usually within a few minutes).
- Download the ZIP file from the link in the email or on your account page. The link is valid for 7 days.
The archive contains JSON files: your account details, credit and payment history, the consents you've given and your list of generations. The list includes download links for your generation files, valid for 7 days. Uploads older than 30 days have already been deleted, so they aren't in the archive.
Deleting individual items
- Delete an upload: Tap Delete on the file on the template page or in your uploads list. Uploads are deleted automatically after 30 days anyway.
- Delete a generation: My generations → ⋯ → Delete. The generation is deleted from storage and removed from the feed.
Delete your account
- First, use up your credits and, if you like, download your data.
- If you have a mobile subscription, cancel it in the App Store / Google Play (deleting your account doesn't stop a store subscription).
- Account › Privacy and data › Delete account.
- Type your email address to confirm and tap Permanently delete my account.
- Your account is permanently deleted after 14 days. Until then, you can change your mind with Cancel deletion on the Account page or with the link in the email. After 14 days, deletion can't be undone.
What happens when you delete your account?
| What | What happens |
|---|---|
| Generations and uploads | Deleted from storage; posts in the feed are removed |
| Unused credits | Deleted, not refunded |
| Web subscription | Canceled automatically |
| Mobile subscription | Must be canceled separately in the store |
| Invoices and payment records | Kept for the period required by tax law |
| Consent records, access logs | Kept for the legally required period, then deleted |
| Backups | Deleted data is removed from backups within — days at most |
You can open a new account with the same email later, but trial credits may not be given again.
Common mistakes
- Deleting your account without using your credits.
- Deleting your account without canceling a mobile subscription, and continuing to get charged.
- Thinking deletion also removes copies other people have downloaded or shared.
