Copyright and Rights Infringement Notice
Rayomo is a platform that hosts content uploaded and generated by users. We respect intellectual property and personality rights, and we remove unlawful content upon notice. This process is carried out in accordance with our obligations as a hosting provider under Law No. 5651 on the Regulation of Publications on the Internet and Combating Crimes Committed Through Such Publications (Law No. 5651) and with Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works (Fikir ve Sanat Eserleri Kanunu, FSEK). Notices from outside Türkiye (e.g. in the US DMCA format) are also accepted through this process.
1. What can you report?
- Copyright infringement: unauthorised use of a video, photo, music or other work that belongs to you (e.g. your viral video being uploaded and altered without your permission).
- Personality rights / image rights infringement: content showing you (or a child of whom you are the parent or guardian) that was created without your consent; fake (deepfake) content impersonating you.
- Trademark infringement: misleading use of your trademark.
- Personal data breach: content containing your personal data. (For other requests under Turkish data protection law (KVKK), see the KVKK Privacy Notice.)
If you believe that content breaches our rules (e.g. obscenity, violence), you do not need to be a rights holder; you can use the Report option on the content.
2. How to submit a notice
Send your notice to destek@rayomo.com with "Rights Infringement Notice" in the subject line. For formal correspondence, you can also use — or —. For general questions: info@rayomo.com.
Your notice must include:
- Your identity and contact details: full name (or company name), email, phone number, address. If you are applying on behalf of a rights holder, a document showing your authority.
- The right infringed: the copyrighted work (a link to or copy of the original work), trademark registration details, or, for a personality rights infringement, information showing that it is you.
- Location of the infringing content: the full link (URL) or share link of the content on Rayomo. Without a link, we may not be able to find the content.
- Explanation: which of your rights the content infringes and why.
- Good faith statement: "I believe in good faith that this use of the content is not authorised by the rights holder, its representative or the law."
- Statement of accuracy: "I declare that the information in this notice is accurate and that I am the rights holder or am authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder."
- Signature: a handwritten, electronic or secure electronic signature, or your typed full name.
3. What happens after a notice
| Step | What happens | Target time |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Received | We confirm by email that we have received your notice | 2 business days |
| 2. Review | We check whether the notice is complete and review the content; if information is missing, we ask you for it | — |
| 3. Removal | If the notice is properly made, we remove the content from the feed and the share link and disable access to it | 24 hours for personality rights and intimate content notices; no later than 7 days for others |
| 4. Informing the user | We inform the user who uploaded the content of the reason for removal and of their right to object (the notifying party's personal data is not shared unless necessary) | — |
| 5. Outcome | We inform you of the outcome | — |
Content showing you in a sexual or intimate context without your consent is handled with priority; for these notices, access to the content is disabled immediately for the duration of the review.
4. Counter-notice (objection)
If your content was removed following a notice and you believe this was a mistake or that you have the right to use it, you can object by writing to destek@rayomo.com with the following information:
- your identity and contact details;
- the link or generation ID of the removed content;
- an explanation and documents showing that you have the right to use the content (e.g. a licence, the rights holder's permission, the person's consent);
- a statement of accuracy and your signature.
We may forward your objection to the person who submitted the notice. Rayomo does not resolve legal disputes between the parties; disputes are resolved by the competent courts. Unless there is a decision of a court or competent authority, we may decline to restore content that clearly infringes rights.
5. Repeat infringements
The accounts of users who are the subject of more than one valid infringement notice are restricted or closed.
6. About Rayomo templates
Rayomo's gallery and trend video templates are original content produced or licensed by Rayomo. Some templates are based on openly licensed sources, and their attributions are listed on the Licences page. If you believe a template infringes your rights, you can report it through the same process.
7. Requests from competent authorities
Court orders and requests from competent authorities are complied with within the time limits set out in the applicable legislation. For such requests: —.
